Launched in April 2025, the Bengeo’s Front Gardens and Wildlife Corridors Facebook Group is a Love Bengeo Community Group project.
It’s a place to share photographs, horticultural events, and information on greening and increasing biodiversity in front gardens and wildlife corridors.

The Facebook Group links up with other Love Bengeo Community Group projects e.g. by promoting plant and seed swaps, and other fund-raising events, to help support the Bengeo Community Garden.
The Bengeo Trails project created Bengeo Trails 10 to celebrate the first anniversary of the front gardens Facebook Group– when its name and remit was revised to include wildlife corridors.
The trail visits a church garden, a garden in a community arts centre, Bengeo Community Garden, and passes by wildlife corridors and local front gardens. The Bengeo Trails Facebook Group can be joined here.
The Love Bengeo Community Group was previously the Community Steering Group for the Bengeo Neighbourhood Area Plan.
An objective of the Neighbourhood Plan is to ‘maintain, protect and increase natural habitats, wildlife and local biodiversity’. The creation and promotion of the Bengeo’s front gardens and wildlife corridors Facebook Group helps contribute to the achievement of that objective
