Community Garden

It’s been just over a year since the community garden opened, and we’ve learned a lot! Spring brought beautiful blooms, with thanks to Mudlarks and local neighbours for their regular visits and watering. Unfortunately, this summer’s drought has taken its toll, and the garden is currently looking a little tired.

Our focus remains on making the space wildlife-friendly
and welcoming. We’re planting more drought-tolerant,
pollinator-friendly species—less colour, but more
resilience and biodiversity.

We always welcome plant donations (Mudlarks will help
place them), and we’re looking into improving water
access. Until then, any watering help is much
appreciated!

Some tree pruning and tidying is planned soon to
improve light and tree health.

Thanks for helping our garden grow — as a green space and a community hub!
